2013 NSW Woman's RL Strategic Planning Session

Date:                    Saturday, 20 October
Time:                    10.30am  -  approx 1.00pm
Venue:                Rugby League Central  -  Moore Park
Dally Messenger Room  -  bottom floor

It would be in the best interests of all clubs to have at least one representative present as this meeting as we discuss how better to promote and develop the game itself and the competitions.

There will also be a proposal for a higher level competition put forward to the clubs that we hope will bring much needed sponsorship dollars into the game.  To this end player representatives are strongly encouraged to attend.

The strategies put in place in the 2012 season had mixed results but there were more teams, more games and less forfeits that in previous years so some things did go very right.  There is also another team from the Central Coast mooted for next season.  The representative season for next season will also need discussion.

If you have any issues or suggestions you would like to put forward for the agenda please forward to Pati but I would like to emphasise that this process is not to turn into a ‘witch hunt’ but a legitimate vehicle to move the competitions forward and to especially find avenues to build junior competitions.

Agenda items and numbers of representatives attending are required to Pati by 15 October.  We will need an idea of numbers for catering purposes so please help us out by advising by the required time.

Yours in Rugby League
