Wrap-up of fixtures played 7 July
Gaters beat Greenbank 41-6 in Premier Grade to retain the competition lead on 24 points, while Easts Juniors beat Wynnum Juniors 50-42 to move to 23 points. The other two matches were forfeits with Sunnybank forfeiting to Carina and Souths Juniors forfeiting to Aspley. This leaves Aspley on 20 points, Wynnum on 16, Carina on 14, Sunnybank on 6, Souths Juniors on 5 and Greenbank on 4 points.
In Northside 1, Pine Rivers were beaten by Brothers Juniors 24-16 and Dayboro had the bye to leave Pine Rivers and Dayboro both on 23 points. Valleys beat Samford 26-4 to go to 22 points, while Brisbane Natives beat Normanby 46-20 to move to 21 points. Pine Central Holy Spirit beat Christian Lions 26-18 to also be on 21 points. Brothers Juniors are on 18 points, Christian Lions on 16 and Samford and Normanby are both on 8 points.
Deception Bay and Mitchelton did not play in Northside 2, having played their match as the Ted Beaumont Trophy match. Mitchelton stays in the competition lead on 24 points. Bayside Warriors beat Christian Lions 42-12 to be 22 on points and Aspley beat Banyo 50-22 to be on 21 points, with Deception Bay on 17 points. In the other match, Gaters beat Arana Hills 50-24, leaving Gaters also on 17 points, Banyo on 14, Arana Hills on 8 and Christian Lions on 5 points.
In Northside 3, Bracken Ridge Bulls beat Banyo 66-0 to stay in the competition lead on 31 points. Norths St Josephs stay on 27 points, after being beaten 22-14 by Burpengary. Mitchelton beat Deception Bay 38-14 to go to 23 points and Pine Rivers stay on 22 points, after being beaten 32-22 by Brighton. Burpengary moves to 21 points while Brighton moves to 19 points. Valleys had the bye to go to 17 points. In the other match, Pine Central Holy Spirit beat Ferny Grove 46-14 to move to 16 points, with Ferny Grove on 13, Banyo on 8 and Deception Bay on 7 points.
Logan Brothers beat Wests Inala 62-16 in Southside 1, to remain in the competition lead on 27 points. Mt Gravatt and Wests Centenary played a 26-all draw for Mt Gravatt to move to 25 points and Centenary to 22 points. Souths Juniors received a forfeit from Carina to go to15 points. Capalaba Juniors and Redlands drew 20-all for Capalaba to go to 13 points and Redlands to 10 points. Inala is on 5 points and Carina is on 3 points.
Bulimba Valleys and St Brendans did not play in Southside 2, having played their match as the Ted Beaumont Trophy. Bulimba Valleys stay on 32 points and St Brendans stay on 24 points. Slacks Creek moved to 23 points after receiving a forfeit from Wynnum Juniors, while Beenleigh Bulls beat Rochedale 32-14 to go to 18 points with Rochedale staying on 16 points. Logan Brothers received a forfeit from the withdrawn Sunnybank to go to 13 points with Wynnum staying on 7 points.
In Southside 3, Beenleigh Juniors beat Capalaba Juniors 40-24 to continue in the competition lead on 34 points, while St Brendans drew with Carina 34-all to be on 24 points. Mustangs Brothers stay on 22 points after being beaten 22-16 by Greenbank, who move to 15 points. Carina stays on 14 points. In the other match, Souths Graceville beat North Stradbroke Island 38-16, leaving North Stradbroke on 13 points, Graceville on 9 and Capalaba on 7 points.
Slacks Creek beat Logan Wanderers 50-24 in Southside 4 to move to 30 points with Logan Wanderers staying on 21 points. Edens Landing stay on 20 points after being beaten 24-22 by Waterford and Rochedale Tigers stay on 18 points after being beaten 48-20 by Browns Plains. Browns Plains go to 17 points and Waterford goes to 15 points. In the other match, Beenleigh beat Capalaba 42-18, leaving Capalaba on 11 points and Beenleigh on 4 points.
In the Under 20 Grade, Easts Juniors beat Brighton 78-10 to stay in the competition lead on 28 points. Brothers Juniors were beaten 34-6 by Logan Brothers for both teams to be on 25 points. St Brendans beat Cannon Hill 74-8 to go to 22 points. Carina beat Norths 22-14 to go to 17 points and Aspley beat Redlands 50-0 to go to 13 points. Brighton is on 12 points, Redlands on 10 and Waterford is on 8 after receiving a forfeit from the withdrawn Albany Creek. Norths Juniors and Cannon Hill are both on 2 points.
