Oz Tag was a popular innovation
THE innovation by the Group 10 Rugby League Club to stage an Oz Tag competition was met with approval by the clubs, their fans and also the girls themselves.
The Workies Oz Tag girls showed plenty of skills through the season and were a credit to their club and to their coach Sam George.
The girls finished their season on Sunday when they were beaten by Cowra in the minor semi final.
The girls went down 16-12 with Workies scorers being Chrissie West (2) with Chrissie also kicking two goals for their 12 points.
The major semi was won by Bathurst Panthers who defeated Orange Hawks 22-10.
Hopefully the group will continue this competition in 2013 as it has been extremely popular with those fans who get to the matches early.
