Bears re-sign Ranse as 2013 coach
LITHGOW Bears Rugby League Club announced that the highly regarded Brett Ranse will once again lead the club as coach for the 2013 Centennial Coal Cup rugby league competition.
Ranse is confident of having a competitive side next year and is hoping his charges can regain the premiership trophy.
In other club news the Bears are pleased to announce that Ray and Joy Smith from the Court House Hotel have once again agreed to be the club's major sponsor which continues a fantastic partnership.
Ray and Joy are great supporters of local sport and it is great to see them once again playing a major role in the Bears campaign.
At the recent well attended Annual General Meeting, Jeff Dean was re-elected as club President while Steve Hughes was once again elected to take on the role of Senior Vice President.
Others elected to the Executive positions include Peter Bradford ( Junior Vice President), Helen Hughes (Secretary) and Peter Hughes (Treasurer).
A club Christmas party and initial muster day is planned for this Saturday, (December 8) at the Bears' clubhouse commencing at 3pm.
All current and intending players, supporters and sponsors are welcome to attend this first social event of the new season while a further muster day will be held in January prior to the commencement of club training.
