Over the past 18 years the Australian Masters Games have provided a forum for sports competition and social interaction for people over the age of 30, promoting friendship and goodwill among participants, their families and friends, spectators and the community as a whole.
The Australian Masters Games is a mass participation event, open to anyone who meets the age requirement. The first Australian Masters Games were held in Tasmania in 1987 and over the years, the event has become Australia's largest regular multisport festival.
