U15 Premierships in Hawkes Bay 15 - 17 Jul
Three U15 teams travel to the Hawkes Bay to compete in the BBNZ Zone 3 U15 Premiership Tournament.
The boys team is coached by Matt Cursons with assistance from U19 Rep Derek Albertsen, who participated in the same tournament only four years ago. The strength of girls basketball in New Plymouth has allowed the Association to selected an 'A' team coached by Eileen Hall and a development team coached by Andy Cowie.
The teams come up against the best in the Hurricanes region with teams competing from New Plymouth across to Hawkes Bay and down to Wellington. They are competing for one of the top four spots which will enable them to go on and participate in the National age group to be held in Wellington in October.
All coaches bring a wealth of experience to the tournament and we wish them and the teams all the very best for the weekend.
