The Eastern Ranges held its 2011 TAC Cup Jumper Presentation on Monday March 21st at Lilydale International.

Alex Benbow and Matthew Buntine received the honour of Dual Captains for the Rays at the 2011 jumper presentation attended by Stephen Milne and Ryan Bastinac. 

Former Gippsland Power player, Dyson Heppell now from the Essendon Football Club is the Round One NAB AFL Rising Star nominee. 

Calder Cannons have opened their premiership defending campaign with a convincing 52 point victory over Northern Knights at Visy Park on Sunday.

The township of Speed will be renamed SpeedKills and local farmer Phil Down will change his name to Phil “Slow” Down for one month as the Rename Speed campaign officially recorded its 20,000th supporter just before 10pm last night.

In a bid to reduce death and serious injury on regional and rural roads the Mallee township of Speed is leading an Australian-first road safety campaign which will see them change their name to SpeedKills.
