KING AND QUEEN OF IV

LTU Basketball, in conjunction with RMIT and Deakin Basketball will hold a joint fundraiser to send our teams to the Australian Uni Games in Brisbane. The event is called "King and Queen of IV" and will feature the hottest ballers strutting their stuff!

Male and female representatives from each team will strut their stuff on the catwalk in a bid to take out the $300 prize. Each contestant will compete in 2 categories - Team Uniform and Swimwear.

Each Uni may enter 2 males and 2 females. Currently the LTU male entry has been finalised with every woman's day dream Paul "Macdaddy" McMaster and Senad "I rule" Dizdarevic sure to set the ladies hearts on fire. Luscious Lara Di Marzio is currently LTU's only female entry but is sure to be a favourite to take out the women's section. The King and Queen will be decided by a panel of celebrity judges still to be announced.

The event will be held on Wednesday 31st August at Room Nightclub, Glenferrie. Beginning at 9pm, tickets cost $10 and there will be some great drink specials including $2.50 pots, $6 Vodka and Red Bulls and $6 Jager Bombs. All proceeds from ticket sales go back to the players. Tickets can be purchased from members of the teams or by contacting LTU Basketball. Each player receives money according to the tickets that they sell so make sure you buy from the players rather than buy them at the door.
