Prime Time, in need of a victory to stay in second place of Pool 1, gritted out a tough 5 point win over DV of Old last night. Riding the momentum of DC's 63 points last week, DV came out firing and built an early lead. Wokka Straw got over his bad case of assistitis from last week and found his range nailing 5 3 pointers for the game and kept DV in the lead.

However it was the fantastic shooting of Peter "The Rage" Leimonitis that got Prime Time the W. Having scored only 2 points for the game, Leimonitis then reeled of 15 of Prime Times last 20 points including a 3 pointer with 20 seconds to go to ice the game.

And 1 continued on their merry way last night with an easy 32 point victory over Inter BW. The college boys were inspired early and had things tied up at 22 at the quarter. However, And 1 switched to a full court press and soon put the game out of reach.

Chapelle was again dominant inside, and Petridis had a very quiet 24 points. Highlight of the game was Big Nev, sick of Threatt picking his pocket on the way to the basket, solving the problem by taking off from outside the key and throwing down a massive slam for 2 of his game high 26 points.

RESERVOIR DOGS 121 d YA MUM 43

The Dogs had a few players in cotton wool last night as they are playing in the National And 1 3 on 3 finals this weekend (Good luck Naz and Mullet). So luckily for them, they played Ya Mum. Fresh from last weeks Cullinan experience, Ya Mum witnessed a 3 point barage from Johnny Lister and Chippa Weston who both finished with 43 points. Not to be outdone, Ya Mums Callan Darke stepped up with 27 points of his own.

WARD 80 d RICK JAMES.......B*ITCHES 71

The match had been talked up for weeks and rumours that Sutton could hold Forbes under 10 points were floating around. Also there was a rumour that a couple of slabs of Crown were riding on this fact.

The game had the intensity of a Game 7 and Sutton was playing more D than ever before, constricting Forbes and forcing him to go inside. Good tactic, as Forbes missed 5 of 6 foul shots and the Crowns looked to be in Suttons grasp.

However Forbes managed to build his points tally and early in the 4th quarter splashed a big 3 in Sutto's face to get him into double figures. This shot continued the momentum of Ward that rallied from an 8 point 3rd quarter defecit to come out eventual 9 point victors. Once again Meagher was hot from the outside and Dobbo was Dobbo. DiMarzio who was on fire for most of the game, was eventually contained and Rick James just couldn't find anyone to step up for him.
