SARGE - COACH OF THE MONTH
In what has been a great season for the men's team so far, it is fantastic to see Sarge recognised for the hard work that he has put in to get to this point.
It would have been difficult to go past Sarge for the award, as the Eagles were undefeated for the Month of May and included big wins over ladder leaders Monash Uni and Warragul.
As always, Sarge took the award in his stride saying that " it's the teams award, he couldn't have got where he is without the boys, one week at a time, Scott Lucas inspired me, I was just trying to do what Ben Ward would want me to do" and so on.
Great work Sarge!
