General Manager Appointed
I am pleased to announce that we have engaged Tim Hamilton to fill our vacant GM’s position.
Many of you may know Tim, he was the CEO of Basketball New Zealand for three years until he resigned earlier in the year. Tim has an extensive background in Sports administration and management and I am really excited to have someone of Tim’s caliber on board.
Tim has been engaged to lead the formation of ‘Auckland Regional Basketball Services’ (ARBS) the Shared Services company being formed by Counties Manukau and ourselves. As a result he also has responsibility for the operations of Counties Manukau and will oversee the startup of ARBS and the transition of activities into ARBS.
Tim will assume responsibility for the day to day management and operations of Basketball Auckland and he starts in the role immediately.
