Work continues in off-season

It may be the off-season but there is plenty of work happening behind the scenes in preparation for the 2013 season.

Sydney Harbour, Newcastle and Central Coast have this week held Regional Meetings, Presidents and Chairmans Meetings as part of planning for the upcoming season.

Western Sydney are also holding their Annual Planning Day on Sunday with the clubs.

The Regions are also in the final stages of confirming their Regional Committees after receiving Expressions of Interest from new and existing committee members.

At an Administration level, the AFL GSJ recently held their Annual Forum at Kiama where Board Members and key members of the GSJ Regional Committees were invited to the workshop-like forum where a number of important items were discussed.

Following the Sydney Review, a new AFL Sydney Manager will be appointed in the coming weeks and will be charged with a number of strategic outcomes relevant to football in Greater Sydney.

A Memorandum will be sent to clubs in the next fortnight with important information. That and other announcements will also appear on the AFL GSJ website.
