Applications for Indigenous Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Umpires and Sports Trainers.

AFL Queensland are currently seeking applications for suitable Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Umpires and Sports Trainers for the upcoming AFL U15 Queensland Kickstart Program in 2013.

The Kickstart Program consists of Kickstart Combines (testing days) held in regional areas towards the end of 2012 with the final U15 Qld Indigenous Team being selected early in 2013.

The team selected will travel to Townsville to participate in the U15 National Indigenous Championships in April 2013 and for the first time will compete at the AFLQ U16 State Championships in Brisbane in May 2013. Coaching staff may also have the opportunity (if selected) to travel internationally with the U15 Flying Boomerangs (Australian Indigenous) Team in January 2014.

Relevant qualifications are required for each role (i.e. Level 1 Junior/Senior Coaching Accreditation) however assistance may be given to applicants who have had considerable experience but need to obtain updated coaching qualifications.
