TOWNSVILLE U16 SQUAD ANNOUNCED
Since training began on 26th November 2012, 48 players have taken to the field in an effort to play for the Under 16 Townsville Eagles at the Queensland Country Championships. The Championships will be held in Airlie Beach on 13-14th April 2013. It is fantastic that all players have embraced the process of being involved in representative football. All players have shown great enthusiasm and intensity over the past 15 sessions which have included Time Trials, Strength & Conditioning Sessions and Skills training.
The unfortunate part of this process is that some players miss out. To those players, you are very much part of the Eagles and are invited to attend training sessions if you wish. Selection for the Eagles is based on numerous factors i.e. Attendance, Attitude, Skills, Recorded results, etc.
The selected Squad of 28 is:
Tim Jaundrell, Reilly Guest, Joel Newman, Braidon Powell, Josh Williams, Renae LeFeuvre, Matthew Lacey, Dillon Scott, Sam Palmer, Jake Rose, Kyle Madsen, Jack Campbell, David Renderos, Matthew Davey, Robert Briant, Riley Campbell-Brown, Riley Heaver, Brad Gealy, Luke Foster, Nathan Wilkins, Jack Growden, Brayden Picknell, Brodie Flude, Micah Fitzsimmons, Jarrod Pruess, Lachie Joyce, Dane McDonald, Brayden Newchurch.
The squad will be reduced to 23 on 20th March.
