2009/10 Active Club Grants

Active Club Grants are a practical way to support more Victorians to get active. These grants (up to $2500) support local sport and active recreation organisations to:

  • Encourage and increase participation opportunities in physical activity for those who are currently inactive or traditionally encounter barriers to participation by providing equipment or training.
  • Improve the safety of sporting and active recreation environments and reduce the likelihood of injury while promoting physical activity.

Through the provision of these grants, organisations are able to obtain essential sporting equipment, injury prevention equipment, portable shade and volunteer training.
