Australia quickly took care of business, keeping Guam by 3 points by the end of the 1st quarter, Australia with 16. As always, Australia dominated the paint, outrebounding Guam 53-36, lead by Hope Terdich with 9 rebounds and Catherine Guest with 12 rebounds. Height has always been an advantage, outscoring Guam in the paint 48-12.
Shooting over Australia, Maree Pelkey lead her team with 10 points, but it was not enough, as Australia continues to dominate to cruise to the championship.
