The South Adelaide CABL Men’s team are delighted to announce the signing of Mitch Creek from the Adelaide 36ers for the 2011 season. Creek is one of the most promising young talents in Australian basketball and has had an impressive rookie year in the NBL.

Creek was the winner of the Bob Staunton Medal at the 2011 Under 20 National Championships this February which is awarded to the most outstanding player. In addition to this he was an instrumental part of Victoria winning the last two Under 20 National Championships. He was the MVP of the Albert Schweitzer tournament in 2010 leading the Under 19 Australian Men’s Team to a gold medal.

By staying in Adelaide and playing in the Central ABL Creek will be able to work with the 36ers coaching staff during the off-season and prepare for his Emus commitments.

South Adelaide are very excited to have such a talented and quality individual join the club.
