JUNIOR TRAINING PROGRAMME 2013
2013 has seen SYCNA join the NetSetGo program established by Netball Australia. This is a well-established program that provides links from Netball Victoria into grass root netball. Sandringham is very happy to be aligned with the 'NetSetGo Program' in 2013.
"Net Set GO is Netball Australia’s junior netball program. It has been developed to provide children from 5 – 10 years old with the best possible learning and playing experience to develop a positive introduction to netball ensuring enjoyment and continued participation.
The program has been designed to complement the existing netball infrastructure by providing community groups such as Associations, Clubs and Schools with quality resources and equipment to deliver an age and skill appropriate netball program.
The program incorporates the modified junior programs FunNet and Netta into a fun and safe weekly program. The program incorporates skill activities, minor games and modified matches and will be coordinated by accredited coaches to ensure a quality experience for all participants." ALL Participants
Enrolments for NEW PARTICIPANTS in Training 1 and 2 are now CLOSED. We will not be taking any more enrolment for the 2013 season.
Training 1 'VIXEN' session times will be held on Thursday afternoon from 4.30 - 5.30p.m. commencing the 18th April. (Season includes 16 sessions PLUS a Round Robin).
2nd Year 'DIAMONDS' Sessions will be at 8.00 - 8.50 a.m. each Saturday throughout the season commencing Saturday, April 20th, 2013. (Season includes 17 sessions PLUS a Round Robin).
PLEASE ARRIVE AT LEAST 5 MINUTES BEFORE THIS EACH WEEK.
You will need to wear: Runners, WHITE T-SHIRT OR WHITE LONG
SLEEVED TOP, either a netball skirt, pair of shorts or tracksuit pants (of
any colour). It is not necessary to wear a netball skirt for this level of
netball. You may not wear any jewellery – please remove prior to participating. NAILS MUST BE CUT SHORT.
IMPORTANT: Please bring along a drink bottle every week.
WET WEATHER: Our sessions will be conducted on every date listed above. In wet weather we conduct indoor activities and expect the players to attend.
PLEASE NOTE: that it is not possible to change from one group to another. Please do not ask for this to happen.
