Australian Volleyball League
The Australian Volleyball League, the national indoor league for men and women, has developed in format over the past few years, servicing the various demands of elite men's and women's volleyball, drawn largely from club/state volleyball players.
The League was established in 1998 and has seen many different formats being utilised over the period. In its current format, the women's season runs from May to July and the men's season runs from October to December.
