The Australian Football League Member Protection Policy was developed to ensure that the AFL is at the forefront of recognising the interests of all persons connected with Australian Football.
The AFL regards unlawful discrimination and sexual harassment as intolerable and believes that all people have the right to work in an environment which is free of unlawful discrimination, sexual harassment and racial & religious vilification.
Under various State and Commonwealth legislation unfair discrimination and sexual harassment is illegal. In its most serious forms harassment can be an offence under State and Federal criminal law.
