It is imperative that a football club takes every possible measure to ensure that their hygiene and food standards are at a high level. Food standards have the force of the law so food safety must be taken seriously. Food Standards Australia New Zealand has developed a Food Standards Code which has the support of both the Australian and New Zealand governments. The Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code is a collection of individual food standards, ranging from food product standards to primary production standards. It is also vital that a football club works hard to provide clean and hygienic facilities to the public. Keeping the club toilets clean, well sanitised and fully stocked is essential to maintaining a clean and safe environment for the community.
