The Alpurrurulam Bush Carnival was held from Friday the 31st of October until Tuesday the 4th of November, 2008. The carnival was a joint effort between Alpurrurulam Sports and Recreation and interested community members, namely Maxie Ray and Peter Morgan.

Any given Sunday ( except this one coming) he's on Sunset Oval in his whites with flags and stopwatch in hand, back and forth between the oval and the scoreboard.

INDIANAPOLIS KIDS GET A TASTE OF AUSSIE RULES
On Sunday 24th June the Mount Isa AFL had the pleasure in showcasing AFL to a group of 40 American teenage students. Over the few hours they all had a go at all aspects of the great Aussie game. Watch a ripper of a match with the Rovers getting up over the Buffaloes by a point.
