The Under 13 and 15 Boy's and Girls Hawkes Bay representative basketball teams were officially announced today. Regional Development Coach, Benny Valentine said that it was a difficult task to select the final 12 in each team because the standard was so high.

The Under 13 Boys and Girls teams will attend the Zone 3 Premiership Tournament in New Plymouth from 6 to 8 July and if they qualify will go the National Finals in Tauranga from 8 to 12 October

The Under 15 Boys and Girls teams will attend the Zone 3 Premiership Tournament in Napier from 13 to 15 July and if they qualify will go the National Finals in Wellington from 8 to 12 October
