CHALLENGE CUP - Results The annual Challenge Cup between the Newcastle and Central Coast Regions was played at the picturesque Newcastle No. 1 ground on Sunday 26th July, 2009.

The weather was overcast and cool but with the best of the junior AFL talent from the Newcastle and Central Coast regions on display the football was hot, hot, hot.

HUNTER INVITATIONAL SHIELD - Results The Hunter Invitational Shield was played at Tulkaba Park on Sunday 19 July 2009. The competing Under 12 Representative Teams comprised the Central Coast, Illawarra, Mid-North Coast and Newcastle.

All teams are to be congratulated for their sportsmanship and the football skills displayed on the day.
