State Selection - Venom Junior First Ever To Be Selected

Congratulations to U16 player Kahlia Flett on being selected into the Victorian U16 girls team for the national championships in Tasmania this July. In only her second season at Warrandyte, Kahlia's selection is an amazing performance.

After joining the U14.2 team one-third into last season, which was her very first at rep-ball level, Kahlia has advanced quickly and is only one of two bottom-age players to make the State team this year.

Currently a member of the 16.1 Venom VC team, Kahlia is the first ever Warrandyte player to make a State team, a fantastic achievement for a player who really only has taken the game up in the last 18 months.

Coached by Nicole Howard, Kahlia's improvement has been extraordinary, which also led to her senior debut for the Venom Big V team at the recent Big V pre-season tournament.

Congratulations Kahlia, we are all very proud of you and will supporting you all the way!
