A Round Robin Carnival was held on Saturday 6 April to conclude the Years 4 & 5 Girls and Boys season for 2012/13. Winning teams in each age division were awarded medallions and five All Star players were selected in each Division. Congratulations to all participants for playing fair with enthusiasm and displaying great sportsmanship. Thank you to all Coaches and parents for supporting the children. Thank you to Rachael Thomas for her organisation of the fixtures, sponsors - Kids Central for providing the saussage sizzle, Donna White for organising the umpiring roster, Jody Ironmonger for co-ordinating the day and the umpires for giving their time on the day. On the weekend of 23/24 February Raiders U14 Boys went through to the Grand Final almost undefeated. They lost only 1 game from 8 by 2 points. They played Geraldton in the Grand Final and took out the Championship 41-19. Congratulations to the Team - players, coaches and managers on a successful outcome. It has been many years since a Championship was won by a Junior team.

15 Raiders Teams represented Albany Basketball Assn. in the recent Country Championships held at the State Basketball Centre in Perth. Representative teams included our youngest U12 boys through to Mens and Womens A grade. Congratulations to all involved, especially Coaching staff, Team Managers, umpires and players. We had some great results from some teams and individuals from our Association.
