The Central Districs Lions are the elite, representative basketball club for the Northern Suburbs and Northern Country Associations including Adelaide Plains, Barossa Valley, Light, Riverland, Yorke Peninsula, Port Pirie, Port Augusta, Whyalla and Port Lincoln. 

We cater for players from beginners to elite.  Our teams compete in local, social competitions at STARplex, just near Gawler, and also in South Australia’s peak competition, the Basketball SA District competition.  We are 1 of 10 South Australian clubs that compete in this competition.

The Lions offer a range of basketball options.  Including:

• Local Social teams from 7 yr old to Seniors
• Elite District teams from 7 yr old to Seniors
• Junior Development Squad from 7 yr old to 12 yr olds
