Competitions
Representative A, B, C and Domestic A & B grades for Boys and Girls 10 / 12 / 14 / 16 / 18 / 20. All teams guaranteed a minimum of four (4) preliminary games subject to sufficient available entries in each section. Please note additional competitions will be added based on demand.

Player & Team Qualification
• Players must be UNDER the stipulated age on 31 December 2012 (Exemplifications will made at the discretion of the organizing committee).
• Players must have up to date registration with their representative or domestic club which is affiliated with an official Association of their State’s basketball governing body (e.g. Basketball Victoria, SA, NSW etc).
• Players must play a minimum of two games to qualify for finals.

Grading
Whilst every effort is made to match teams of similar abilities, grading is based on number of entries in each age group and information supplied by the teams in application forms. In the interests of all participating teams, the tournament organisers reserve the right to eject any team who provides inaccurate information on the team entry sheet that would affect the appropriate grading of that team. Teams with a high number of players at representative level may be graded into a higher age group at the discretion of the Tournament Committee.

Game Format
Preliminary Rounds: 2 x 20-minute halves with clock stopping on all whistles in last one (1) minute of 2nd half only. Two time-out per team per half.

Grand Finals: 2 x 20-minute halves with clock stopping on all whistles in last three (3) minutes of 2nd half. Two timeout per team per half – clock stops. Three minutes extra time in event of a tie, with clock stopping on all whistles in last one (1) minute.

Each team must provide a competent scorer for all their games, please note the tournament will use the latest Stadium Scoring technology developed by SportingPulse.  Notes will be available for all scorers to access. Teams must commence game with minimum four (4) players.

Team Entry Fees
Entry is $100.00 per team for all grades, payment can be made via cheque, cash or credit card at the Kilsyth Sports Centre. Cheques to be made payable to “Kilsyth Basketball”.

Player and Coach Registration
Following team registration Team/Club contact will be required to register all players and coach via the Yarra Ranges Classic website. Contacts will be sent a user name and password and be required to register details prior to Wednesday 1 March 2012. 

Closing Date
Entries due on or before Tuesday 21 February 2012. Full payment must accompany team entries.

Door Entry:
• Player Weekend Pass: $15 (all player passes will be checked at first game)
• Spectator Day Pass to all venues: $5
• Spectator Weekend Pass to all venues: $10
• Children 12 & under and Pensioners Free entry.
• Team Coach (1 per team): Free Pass to all venues.

Trophies and Prizes:
Trophies will be awarded to all Premiers and Runners up and there will be a Grand Final MVP for each section.
