The Bulleen Boomers play in the Big V as our main senior representative competition and is the natural "stepping stone" for our Junior players to progress into Senior basketball. 

In Big V we field four teams, with a men's and women's team in each of State Championship and State Youth Championship.

The State Championship is an open competition, but with restrictions on the number of players who have played at a higher level such as NBL and WNBL.

The State Youth Championship is an entry level for Junior players into Big V and is a strict 23 year and under competition.

Big V is a great opportunity to see some quality basketball in our own backyard, with all home games being played at East Doncaster Secondary College. Most home games also feature a double header, with a State Youth Championship game followed by a Senior State Championship game.
