The Big V season for 2009 commenced on March 21st. For fixtures and results during the season, keep an eye on the Big V Web site at www.bigv.com.au ... upcoming games will also be published on our Boomers notice board on our Web site.

Progress reports will also be provided during the season on our Web site on an ongoing basis - check the Big V Update item under the News menu for the latest updates.

The Bulleen Boomers play Big V as our main senior representative competition, and is the natural "stepping stone" for our Junior players to progress into Senior basketball. For our Junior girls, Big V also represents a pathway for girls with significant potential to progress through to our national WNBL team.

In Big V women, we have a Championship division team and a Youth League team. In Big V men, we have a Division 1 team and a Youth League team.

In the Big V competition, Youth League is a division that is an entry level for Junior players into Big V - there are restrictions on the number of senior players that may play in a Youth League team. All other divisions are open age with no restrictions.

Big V is a great opportunity to see some quality basketball in our own backyard, with home games being played at the Templestowe Leisure Centre and Veneto. Most home games also feature a double header, with a Youth League game followed by a Championship game. All our Big V teams need your support, so get out this season and support our Big V Bulleen Boomers when ever you can.

For season 2009, we are offering memberships which will allow entry into all Big V Bulleen home games including women's games at TLC and men's games at the Veneto Club. They are great value for money so please support our senior program.

Casual Entry: $6.00 Adults $3.00 Child $15.00 Family (2A/3C)
