Under 20 Women - Head Coach and Assistant Coach

The Bulleen Boomers are seeking to establish an Under 20 women's team in the VJBL for season 2010. This represents the final stepping stone for our aspiration of having an end to end pathway in our Club for girls to be able to progress from our Junior Championship program into our Senior Big V program and ultimately into our elite team in the WNBL. Our Under 20 team is a significant addition for those players who have the potential but just need another year or two of playing experience to be ready for our senior teams.

We are seeking an experienced coach and assistant with an interest in developing young talent. The candidates must be able to plan and oversee the delivery of a successful Under 20 women's program in collaboration with Youth League and Championship coach of our Big V women's program. This will require excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and develop young players. The successful candidate will assist our program in achieving the BTBC objective of providing a clear pathway from our Junior Championship program.

Key accountabilities include:

• Coaching and development of the BTBC under 20’s women's team.
• Contribute to the overall development of the junior girls and women's programs at the BTBC
• Assist in the recruitment of potential players to the under 20 team
• Attend Club functions where practical, including regular Coaches meetings
• Liase with Senior Big V women's coaches and Youth League coaches for development of players
