The Bulleen-Templestowe Basketball Club Inc has been operating in the Bulleen, Templestowe and surrounding suburbs of outer-eastern Melbourne for 36 years. The Bulleen-Templestowe Basketball Club provides extensive opportunities for players and officials to develop their potential and to excel in all levels of the sport. Participation at junior level in training programs, clinics, tournaments and leagues, provides those with the aim to achieve, the opportunity to compete at a senior elite level.

The Bulleen-Templestowe Basketball Club has been successful in attracting large numbers of younger players to the sport of basketball. Our coaching efforts in the early years are focused on understanding and developing the essential skills, the main rules and some simple but important playing strategies. Our club is also committed to reinforcing that competing in sport is a fun and enjoyable experience and that 'being a good sport' should and must be the norm rather than the exception.

Bulleen-Templestowe Basketball Club provides teams for between 700 - 800 players competing in the Eastern Districts Junior Basketball Association (EDJBA) Saturday domestic competition. Players range in age from 5 years to 20 years with approximate equal numbers of boys and girls. Bulleen-Templestowe Basketball Club, through the Junior Championship program, provides teams for between 250 - 300 players competing in the Victorian Championships and Metropolitan and Regional competitions. Players range in age from 12 years to 20 years with approximate equal number of boys and girls teams.

The Senior Championship program provides teams to compete in the Victorian State Basketball Leagues, Big V division and Youth League division. To be eligible for selection into the Senior Championship program players have generally progressed through the ranks of the Junior Championship program. Bulleen-Templestowe Basketball Club has been a member of the Women's National Basketball League since 1978, providing players of the Senior Championship Women's program the opportunity to tryout for this elite program.

We also provide a range of mid week competitions for men and woman of all ages and capabilities to enjoy a game of social basketball and keep fit.

Our main stadium is located in Sheahans Road, Bulleen. Games are also played out of the Manningham-Templestowe Leisure Centre, corner of Anderson and Foote Streets, Lower Templestowe (known as Templestowe Leisure Centre (TLC)).

We also hire court time on a regular basis for training sessions at Veneto Club Bulleen, Carey Baptist Grammar, Whitefriars College, Templestowe College and the Donvale Sports Complex (DISC).
