2014 Junior Player Registration Process – Non-Club Players
The Junior Player Registration process this year has been further streamlined, with your association fees and game fees all being rolled into a single payment at the start of each season, to be paid online.

We have included the game fees with each player's registration fees to reduce the burden on team managers and ensure the cost of your team’s game fees is evenly spread across all players.  Whilst this will mean a higher upfront payment at the start of each season, there will no longer be a requirement for parents to ‘find’ the $10 game fees each week.

We have created separate registration forms and products for Club players (eg Aspley Devils, Brendale Bobcats, Chermside Redbacks, North Lakes Hawks and Southern Cross players) and non-club players i.e. those that play solely for their school and/or an independent team that is not part of an affiliated club.

Club players will be given automatic access to our 2014 player development program. T
he program, which is being devised by our Coaching Director Don McCarron, will provide a high standard of skills development for club players, delivered by experienced coaches.

Please note that this program will not be available to non-club players i.e. those that play solely for school and/or independent teams. If you would like to be included in this program you will need to join an affiliated club.

Information for non-club players:
You need to complete our online ‘Non-Club Player registration form’ before your first game.  The quickest and easiest way to complete your registration is to select the link from your home or work computer, or at the venue on game day using our computer (please allow an extra 20-30 minutes as there may be a queue). Payment can be made by either Visa Credit Card, Visa Debit Card or Mastercard.

The registration fee payments are staggered throughout the year, with payments due at the start of each season (grading, championship, summer). If preferred, a single annual fee can be paid by 02/02/14 for a 5% saving ($22), which will reduce the full amount payable to $423.  Remember – this includes your weekly game fees for the whole year.

All players proposing to play in 2014 must be registered by 02/02/14, as team lists will need to be submitted electronically by 3rd February 2014 to allow sufficient time for the competition draws to be completed ahead of the first games on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th February.

Get in the Game (Get Started) Funding:
Get Started is one of three funding programs that comprise the Queensland Government Get in the Game initiative to support sport and recreation at the grassroots level. Get Started assists children and young people who can least afford or may otherwise benefit from joining a sport or recreation club. Eligible children and young people can apply for a voucher valued up to $150 (GST exclusive), which can be redeemed at a sport or recreation club registered with Get Started. The vouchers will be available from 10th February 2014. For further information, refer to the Qld Government website.

If you apply, and are granted a voucher, please email administrator@northsidewizards.com for assistance to complete your online registration.

Unregistered players are not allowed to participate and will not be covered by player insurance if they are injured.  Accordingly, any team that allows an unregistered player to play will have their game recorded as a played forfeit i.e. their team will receive no competition points, no player stats and no game eligibility for finals.  This will be strictly enforced from round 1.
