Both teams enjoy the Easter weekend off before head to Bendigo and Ballarat then return home on Saturday 25 April against the Kilsyth Cobras at 6pm & 8pm.

Without super center Emma Randal who was away on Australia Opals commitments, the Lady Spartans showed no effect of her absence with five Lady Spartans hitting double figure points lead by Kate Willey with 15 points.  Shona O'Bree added 10 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assist and 6 steals to walk away with the game MVP award.

In the earlier game, the Carina Leagues Club Brisbane Lady Spartans has also kept their undefeated run going with a 20 points win against the Launceston Tornadoes 76 -“ 56.

Demos and Williamson combined for 70 of the teams total 143 but had valuable contributions from Thalo Green (19 points) Ash Cannan (18 points and 10 rebounds) and Greg Vanderjagt (17 points).

"You get nights like that," Spartans head coach Bruce Palmer said.  "œWith Chris out, being our leading scorer in all the games he played, we really needed someone to step up and tonight we had two of them."

For the visitors, Matty Gange (39 points) and James Quinn (23 points) worked tirelessly all night but couldn't contain the Spartans sharp shooting night.

The lead extended to 36 points at the main break and the Spartans offense was firing on all cylinders, amassing another 40 point-plus third quarter, which included a further 6 three point bombs.

The Spartans opening quarter included 9 three pointers and a massive 46 points while holding the bandits to just 19 at the end of the first to virtually seal the game in the opening minutes of the game.

A ruthless Spartans team burst out of the blocks early and stunned the Bandits with a barrage of three-pointers not only from Williamson but Tyson Demos, who also joined the shooting party adding 30 points including 6 three pointers.

The Spartans were without Chris Goulding who returned to Perth for the Wildcats end of season NBL dinner and in his absence, Drew Williamson was promoted to the starting line-up and exploded for 40 points including 9 three point bombs.
