The Sydney Womens's AFL is the premier Australian Football League for women in NSW. Established in 1999, the league now consists of six clubs - Balmain, Newtown, Sydney Uni, UNSW / Eastern Suburbs, Western Suburbs and St George with two new teams - Macquarie Uni and Bondi Shamrocks - expected to join in 2009.

It's a fantastic sport for girls of all ages - competitive, skilful and fun for everyone involved. If you love kicking a footy in the park, or have always wanted to play something a little different, AFL is the sport for you.

All girls over the age of 15 can play. If your daughter is younger than this age, or has been playing Auskick or rec footy at school, please make contact with the league to establish the best pathway into women's AFL.
