Mackay Basketball’s Ladies Daytime League plays fixtures from February to November, with breaks for school holidays.Nominations are open to ladies of all ages and skill levels. The Wednesday morning competition is played at McDonalds Mackay Stadium’s excellent facilities in a friendly atmosphere with the emphasis on fun and fitness. Child minding is provided for mums with young children and morning tea is available for those who like to sit and chat after their game.
The League’s 2019 grand final winners were Allsorts (A Grade) and Aussies (B) Grade. Grand Final day celebrations on Dec 4 included trophy presentations and morning tea in the Stadium Café, attended by 60 players and guests. The 2019 Sportswoman of the Year award went to Chris Everett.
