Reloading Bullets on agenda

Hopes for a Brisbane Bullets revival have been bolstered with a renewed push for a National Basketball League franchise in the Queensland capital.

Lord Mayor Graham Quirk will today join members of the Basketball Australia administration and Brisbane basketball identities to launch a campaign to bring the NBL back to Brisbane.

Guests at a midday rally at King George Square will include Bullets legend Leroy Loggins, who was immortalised in bronze outside the Brisbane Entertainment Centre and awarded the keys to the city in 1992 for his services to the game.
