Brisbane Capitals at U20 National Championships

Brisbane Basketball continues to be a dominant force in having players go onto represent their state at Australian Junior Championships with a total of 6 players and 1 coach representing Queensland at the Australian U20 Junior Championships in Canberra this week. The players are either current Brisbane Capitals players, or have had some link to Brisbane Basketball and its junior porgrams in the past. In the boy's side Gaspher Obowona and Stephen Kiir who have both been products of the highly successful St James College program have made the transition to the national stage alongside Brisbane Capitals juniors Christian Lam and Jeremy Kelly, under the tutelage of Dale Ryan. Whilst for the girls, QBL Brisbane Capitals' from last year Molly Windsor has been playing alongside Steph Bairstow returning from AIS commitments.
