QLD South U18 Girls Take Silver @ U18 Nationals

Queensland South have excelled at the recently completed U 18 National championships.

U18 Girls South lost by one point in the grand final to Victoria metro. Queensland’s entire appointed Coaching staff is BBI members. Head coach Pam Hamilton Smith adds a silver medal to her array of national awards. BBI member’s Assistant coach Jordan Mullen and Team Manager Jacque McConnell complete the staff..

The U 18 South boy’s team finished a very courageous fifth place, winning almost all their games after being behind at the half. Once Again BBI dominated the playing and coaching staff. Capitals Head coach Dale Ryan made his State head coaching debut; he was assisted by Dave Mitchell who served us well as the head coach of the state champion U 16 Boys team.

At the Conclusion of the Championships two Brisbane Capital male players were announced as members of the 17 and Under National squad that will attend the final selection Camp in Ballarat from 26th to the 29th of April. Garrett Scheibner will return from injury to take his place at the camp. New comer Brendan Carroll will make his National debut in Ballart, congrats to both and good luck.
