2010 Male Official of the Year - Bruce Proud
Bruce is a long serving statistician associated with Brisbane Basketball. He regularly officiated at the Brisbane Capitals QBL games; however, he has also assisted Northside Wizards and Ipswich Force in this regard and is always a willing helper.
Bruce has also provided statistical support for NBL and WNBL programs including Logan Thunder WNBL and Gold Coast Blaze NBL programs and in the past the Brisbane Bullets NBL program.
Bruce has provided education and mentoring to many statisticians throughout Queensland conducting accreditation courses and assisting with practical development during QBL/NBL/WNBL games.
In spite of recent health issues, Bruce has continued to work tirelessly as a statistician maintaining a high quality and always doing this with a smile and encouraging word.
Bruce is a very deserving winner of the 2010 Male Official of the Year.
