FBI - Future Basketball Identification Program
Following the inaugural success of the program last year, Brisbane Basketball will once again be offering it’s high performance FBI program. Aimed at athlete’s aged 15-20 years of age the 15 week program combines on-court individual sessions, team development camps, strength and conditioning sessions and personal development (time management, career advice etc) for athletes wanting to take the next step in their basketball development.
In particular the program will assist players who aspire to higher levels in their basketball pathway including Capitals Junior and Senior Representative Programs, Queensland State Program, US College, NBL/WNBL and overseas professional leagues. Players are provided with a variety of services and products throughout the program including:
· Goal setting
· Small group individualised skill development sessions
· Strength and Conditioning sessions (provided by qualified personal trainers from Healthstream Gym)
· Attendance at Brisbane Capitals High Performance Camps
· 6 month full access Healthstream Gym membership
· Personal Development sessions in areas of time management, nutrition, psychology and mental training
· FBI Program Uniform
· FBI Player Development Manual
· Exposure to QBL, NBL and WNBL training sessions and coaches
Information Session
An information evening will be conducted on Wednesday 18th April @ 6pm at NAB Stadium meeting rooms (Dixon Street, Auchenflower) where potential candidates and parents can ask questions and find out more about the program.
