Friday stands down from Wanneroo women
The Wanneroo Basketball Association advises that its WSBL Head Coach, Craig Friday has announced that he will be standing down to spend some more time with his young family.
“Whilst it is disappointing to see Craig step down for the WSBL role, we are very thankful of Craig’s work with the WSBL team in recent years and we look forward to Craig remaining with the Pack for many years to come”, said Ryan Hunter, President of the Wanneroo Basketball Association. “We feel privileged to have been able to benefit from a coach who is of Craig’s standing in the basketball community and we have big shoes to fill for Season 2013”.
The Wolves WSBL team has developed into a consistent program that has a wealth of junior talent that is being nurtured.
On behalf of the Wanneroo Basketball Association and the WSBL team we would like to express our thanks to Craig Friday for his commitment, experience and professionalism, and we know that he has developed a very strong program that is well positioned to move forward.
Whilst Craig is standing down from his WSBL commitments, Craig will remain with the Wolfpack and has accepted a WABL coaching position for Season 2013. We look forward to seeing Craig remain in a green polo for many years to come.
