Tigers appoint Former Suns Coach Butt as WSBL Assistant

The Willetton Tigers would like to thank all applicants who applied for the position of Tigers assistant coach of the Women’s SBL squad for 2010.

We are happy to announce that Robbie Butt has been appointed to the position.

Robbie brings a wealth of experience to the club from WSBL to junior development. Robbie was head coach in 2009 for the Kalamunda Eastern Suns WSBL team who were only one game out of the grand final.

Robbie will fill Peter Cook’s shoes as he has now moved to the position of Assistant Coach of our men’s program at Willetton.

Head coach Glenn Clarke is very happy with the appointment of Robbie and looks forward to him coming on board.

“Robbie has a huge wealth of experience which he will bring to the club." said Clarke.

"His professionalism and also his understanding of the game on and off the court will make the WSBL and Women’s WABL program a successful one."

"I look forward to working with him to drive our women’s program forward”
