SKILLED Goldfields Giants Sign Hamish Bowden
The SKILLED Goldfields Giants are pleased to announce the signing of 6-1” guard Hamish Bowden for the 2010 SBL season.
Hamish is an exciting and athletic 20-year-old who has had previous ABA experience with the Hobart Chargers, Rockhampton Rockets (QLD) and Port City Power (Gladstone, QLD).
He has an impressive junior resume, which includes playing for Tasmania in the 2008 National U/20 Championships (held in Albury, NSW) and being selected in 2004 as one of ten players from Australia to tour the USA as part of a Brian Kerle Stars of the Future team.
Hamish will give the team additional depth in the back-court and will be a key player alongside the likes of Ryan Hulme, Jimmy Bowler and Todd Earle.
