SBL Launches SBLtv this Sunday

The State Basketball League is proud to announce a new partnership that will take the league, and Western Australian basketball, to new heights.

Thanks to the SBL & Local Media Services Company, each week of the SBL Season in 2010 will see one game broadcast live to the internet with the launch of SBLtv.

SBL General Manager CJ Jackson was excited with the announcement.

"This is a first for a State League in Western Australia, and perhaps Australia and we are excited to be partnering with LMSC to bring SBLtv to the fans."

"SBLtv will take our league to new heights with increased exposure for our clubs, sponsors and most importantly our fans."

SBLtv will see one game each week broadcast live to LMSCtv.com with expert commentary and exciting features that will be unveiled on Sunday at the Mandurah Magic vs Geraldton Buccaneers game.

"After a fantastic season broadcasting the NBL and WNBL with productions unrivalled anywhere in Australia, the LMSCtv.com crew can't wait to launch this fantastic new service with the SBL, at a time when the sport is again growing in popularity." said David MacRae from LMSCtv.com.

SBLtv will also see a weekly show available on SBL.asn.au each Thursday morning during the regular season. The show will feature interviews, game highlights, previews and much more.

Fans are encouraged to tune in from 12:00pm on Sunday to catch all of the action live from the Mandurah Aquatic & Recreation Centre.

SBLtv see's the SBL continue to significantly increase its coverage with SBL Radio also returning in 2010 (broadcasting each Thursday from 5:00-6:00pm on 91.3 SportFM). The SBL website (http://www.sbl.asn.au) launched in 2009 also continues to grow from strength to strength with Live Stats also continuing for every SBL game in 2010.

LMSC are a local media company based in Western Australia and have been an outstanding supporter of basketball over the previous years.
