Slammers captain injured in loss

South West Slammers may be without captain Aaron Edwards for up to two weeks following a disastrous Good Friday night game against Stirling Senators which saw the team slump to their fifth straight defeat, 92-64.

The clash against Stirling appeared to be the Slammers best chance for a win so far this season with only one game separating the two teams on the 2010 SBL premiership ladder, and for the first quarter it appeared Slammers had Stirling's measure.
