Magic's break losing spell (Mandurah Mail)

THE Mandurah Magic’s have broken their loosing streak with outstanding wins against the Southwest Slammers on the weekend.

The Women’s team kicked off the Saturday night games at the Mandurah Aquatic Centre with a final score of 96 to 44.

Soaring ahead with 27 points by the first period, the Magic’s left the Slammers behind at the start line, managing only 20 points by half time.

The Magic’s converted 32 of their 75 shots to confidently put them in front of the Slammers, who only managed to covert 15 from 50.

Magic’s player Casey Mihovilovich lead the team with 29 points, making 100 percent of her 12 free throws.
