Igor Nujic Signs Letter of Intent

UTSA (University of Texas San Antonio) signs four to National Letters of Intent SAN ANTONIO — UTSA head men’s basketball coach Brooks Thompson announced Friday that he has signed Igor Nujic (Perth, Australia), Alex Vouyoukas (Athens, Greece), Ryan Whitehead (Goodyear, Ariz.) and T.J. Williams (Jonesboro, La.) to National Letters of Intent. The four players and fall signees Jeromie Hill (Cairns, Australia), Travis Payton (Avondale, Ariz.), Jordan Sims (Surprise, Ariz.) and Tyler Wood (San Antonio/Madison HS) will join the Roadrunners for the 2010-11 season.

“We’re very excited about the signing of these four young men to go along with the four we signed in the fall,” Thompson, who has guided the Roadrunners to back-to-back 19-win campaigns, said. “We have addressed our needs and we feel we are bringing in quality student-athletes who will all be great ambassadors for the program. With six freshmen coming in we will be young, but we feel we will continue to build upon the high expectations we have for our program.”
