Sue Williams hits 400 Games

Glasscraft Wanneroo Wolves veteran Sue Williams was last night recognised with being the first WSBL player to reach the 400 game milestone.

The Wolves overcame the tough Mandurah Magic outfit in a hard fought 76- 67 win before Basketball WA Operations Manager CJ Jackson made an official league presentation at half time of the Men's game.

Williams has played 19 season of SBL after commencing with the Willetton Tigers in 1990. She has since played every year aside from 2002 and 2006.

Williams played 360 games over 16 seasons for the Tigers before moving to the Wolves in 2008. She has since played 52 games for her current team.

Having played WNBL and SBL throughout her career, Sue has reached the pinacle of basketball in WA and Australia and has also passed on her knowledge in coaching many junior teams.

The State Basketball League would like to congratulate Sue on this outstanding achievement.
