The Tigers never looked troubled, taking a six-point gap to quarter-time and extending that to 15 just seven minutes into the second period.

Goldfields reduced Willetton’s advantage to eight two minutes into the third quarter but the Tigers went on a 34-18 run to ensure its path had been secured by the final break.

The Lady Tigers will face Perth in the next round after it cruised to a comfortable win over the Lightning.

The top side outscored the eighth seed 43-28 in the middle two quarters to ensure its path, while shooting at 49 per cent from the field also helped.
