Giants out of playoff race

Goldfields Giants coach Wayne Creek says he has unfinished business and wants to return next season after his side bowed out in the State Basketball League quarter-finals with a 104-85 loss on the road to Willetton on Saturday night.

After guiding the Giants to seventh spot with a 14-12 win-loss record during the qualifiers, Creek’s rookie season as coach came to an abrupt end as Willetton clinched the best-of-three series 2-0.
